It’s not going to take a turn for the worst unless the other person does. I’m not bothered by some comments from an anonymous person. That’s what happens when someone is only interested in spreading lies and misinformation instead of the truth.

I clearly and concisely explained what I know about LCA. They decided to try and attack me personally because they had nothing else to offer to the LCA conversation. Notice he didn’t even attempt to address anything I said about LCA. LOL

What's Martinsburg---Salem Scheduled them and they are way outside the area.

Martinsburg has approximately 1,400 schools. They are classified as C4 in Virginia. Salem usually schedules quality teams OOD but they are always Class 3 or Class 4, not C5 or C6.

Also know you know about recruiting seeing as there are still several Amherst administrators with copies of texts you sent to certain players to try to get them to come to your school where you were defensive coordinator if not for that you would have gotten Amherst head job. OK how about the girls team that won the state last year? Two best players had committed to Liberty U. One from Greensboro & one from San Diego. Also doesn't take a bunch of high profile kids to stack a team in high school?

Please inform me about these high profile kids that are being funneled to LCA by Liberty. Liberty currently has the 102 ranked recruiting class in football so all those impact players coming to little old Lynchburg must be overlooked or under ranked…some of yall really just be talking to say anything and hope somebody else agrees.

If we are speaking of other sports again let’s count titles and I haven’t seen LCA secure many since they’ve been in the public realm, I’ve seen them make some title games but surprise some teams are just better than the one they play and they (LCA) lost.

So I take that as a "yes" to my question of you running out of misinformation? 🤣 We know that you can Google player's social media info. You already told us that. But again, no one is denying that they have transfers on their team and will most likely have some each year the school is in existence. You, nor anyone else, has ever provided any evidence that the coaches are recruiting players; just opinions and public knowledge that some players transferred in. But don't worry, they will not be as dominant in the near future. Gideon and Easton have already enrolled at Clemson and there are rumors of Coach Rocco retiring.

Did it ever cross your mind that perhaps people from out of state move to the area for work and choose to put their kids at LCA because they have great academics, great athletics, it's Christian based, and it's affordable? Or that parents of local athletes want those things for their kids too? But I get it. I used to believe the same things that I heard until I actually had kid's there and actually got to know people in the program. Then I realized most of what I heard simply wasn't true.

You were reaching before but now you look like Stretch Armstrong my boy. 😂 I actually do talk to a lot of the parents and players because I knew a lot of them before any of our kids went to LCA. Also, there are plenty of other coaches in the area that doesn’t believe they recruit but that’s neither here nor there. I guess we will have to agree to disagree on this topic.

I appreciate the compliment about being a good dad but just for the record, I only catch and release when I fish. They don’t get the Blackstone treatment. 😂

I have a prediction. If anyone that currently does not like LCA suddenly sees their favorite team start winning multiple football titles they will also stop complaining about LCA. The staff and players at the 6 schools with the state championships and you can argue that even the runner-ups are doing what is needed to make their teams successful.

There is not much difference with the 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 LCA teams. The major difference is the outside response to those teams which are dependent upon season outcomes. Oscar Smith went through some tough graduation and high value game losses only to drag themselves back to the top of the Class 6 pile. Other teams can do it also.

I definitely know this already which is why I keep harping about them merely being better than the local teams in the 434 area but in all honesty they’re not dominant but in a couple sports and it’s cyclical. Outside of baseball they aren’t a perennial power, football is becoming that now but they had a top 150 player which is enough in lower classifications who just graduated time to see if they got that it factor still.

I get Spotswood, but where did you get Rustburg from? They lost like 90% of their scoring from last year (maybe more) and they did not reload. They beat Brookville by 3. They will pick up some wins in the Seminole because it is as bad as it has been outside of the Lynchburg schools but Rustburg is no threat this year. JF lost 10 seniors and is way down this year, Amherst, Liberty, and Brookville are still trying to turn their programs around. If anyone else is a threat from the region it would be Western Albemarle.

Saw Rustburg is 5-0. They normally have a really good program. Thanks for the clarification though. Haven’t really followed the Seminole or Dogwood in a while on a consistent basis.

I remember back in the day, Gretna was the only public school team that would play them in football and GW Danville would play them in basketball. Won’t no crying about transfers or “they gonna take our players”.. They lined it up and played ball. Damn how times have changed!

A while ago I brought up this point concerning the Dematha Stags having recruited a D1 player from Phoebus. That player would have been a senior starter and most likely the fastest football player in the state of Virginia during the Magna Vista semifinal game. A 28-23 final.

But when I brought up this point many VaPreps posters were boo hooing in disagreement saying that it does not matter. I am not asking for the hive mind treat but why does transferring and recruiting matter 9 years later that LCA has taken over Virginia C3? 39-2 since their loss to Phoebus. Things that make you go hmmmm.

I will say it again. A high school football team cannot lose even 1 D1 player for any reason and be the same team afterwards. Varina turned into a really soft and melty, jelly-like dark blue pudding with gold highlights after losing their QB for God's sake. The hypocrisy that exists in America should come with a few wacks from a bamboo cane for each instance of being a hypocrite.

People underestimate how good the Lynchburg/Roanoke area is in hoops. Both areas have 2-3 teams that would be competitive with anyone in the state, consistently. It’s been nice to see GW rekindle the Fleming match up. For two years (2008 & 2009) you couldn’t get into the gym unless you stood in line to get presale tickets, two days before the game. I’d personally like to see Northside/John Marshall. Think Coach Pope’s group can play with anyone.

I can’t speak on the coaches salaries because I don’t know what LCA coaches make. Also, I don’t know if you have seen their facilities or not but they are average at best. Several public schools in the area have better facilities.
