12th 804 All­‐Star Game set for March 21

Richmond, Va. - The 804 All-­‐Star Game returns for its 12th straight year Saturday, March 21 at Richard Bland College. The 3-­‐point contest kicks things off at 7 pm, followed by the dunk contest at 7:30 pm and the game at 8 pm.

The annual North vs. South matchup features the top 24 public and private school seniors that hail from the Central Virginia area, many of whom will continue their basketball careers at the college level. The North team is headlined by Henrico's Ryan Pearson (Navy signee) and Benedictine's C.J. Wiggins (North Carolina Central), while the South boasts VCU-­‐bound Kenny Williams, Zane Najdawi (Citadel) of Cosby and the leading scorer in the area, Matoaca's Devin Morgan.

The 804 Game is one of the longest running basketball all-­‐star games in the Mid-­‐Atlantic region. Future college and pro players such as Christchurch's Devin Robinson (2014, Florida), Cosby's Troy Caupain (2013, Cincinnati), Petersburg's Frank Mason (2012, Kansas), Benedictine's Jordan and Bradford Buress (VCU), John Marshall's Travis McKie (2010, Wake Forest), Meadowbrook's Justin Harper (2007, Richmond, NBA Draft pick) and L.C. Bird's Tyrese Rice (2005, Boston College).

The current team rosters are below with 12 players participating on each team. Advance tickets go on sale at Richmond-­‐area DTLR stores Friday, March 14 for $10. Tickets at the door the day of the game are $12.
