Appomattox vs FUMA game is canceled

This Friday's (9-28-18) football game with Fork Union Military Academy has been canceled. FUMA has forfeited the game due to a scheduling conflict. As of now, the Raiders will not have a game this Friday. Any change in this schedule will be posted here immediately.

I see it like that as well...we can prevent injuries and the game dont count points. EVEN THOUGH, it might hurt us in playoffs. We may have all road games like we did last year when we got deep. That FUMA game came up to bite us in butt, but at least the fan base of appo got to see SWVA! It was good to see us travel well when the game was so far away. Im not speaking on why it was cancelled, I dont know much on the situation. All I know is there was a scheduling conflict. Its a shame for the players though.
