Chilhowie with no first downs and possibly negitive offensive yards until their last drive. They had a 34 yard TD pass called back for holding with 14 seconds left. Narrows D Line owning the trenches. Except a lot of Chilhowie moving the pocket and rambling in the 2nd half.

I guess the Chilhowie hype train on SWVA boards will have to regroup. Sounds like Narrows is legit and Chilhowie has a few things to work on to be ready come playoff time.

Narrows was the obviously better team for the first 3 quarters because of the dominant line play. Chilhowie couldn't block them till the linemen started getting gassed late in the 3rd. From there on, they were pretty even.

Big win for the boys in green. Hopefully bigger prey to get next week in Pearisburg.

Narrows 20, Chilhowie 14

NARROWS — Matthew Morgan ran for 112 yards and a touchdown to lead the Green Wave (3-0) to a win.

Chase Blaker threw for a TD and ran for a TD for the Green Wave (3-0).

Logan Adams completed 12 of 27 passes for 208 yards and two TDs for Chilhowie (2-1).

The Narrows defense held the Warriors to 23 yards rushing.

Don't know the rushing allowed vs Auburn in week 1 but the last 2 weeks, they've allowed 29 yards on the ground. If they give up 4 times that next Friday in Pearisburg, I'll take my chances.
