Booker T Washington Norfolk ,Va is looking forward to competing in 3A next season seen the 3A state championship and seen two great teams play.. To be honest as coaches we thought 3A was watered down but it was 2 legit teams. Do you guys think with the addition of Phoebus, Norcom, BTW will be a big factor playing in 3A?

Great additions for 3A East
3A West has captured the last 4 state championships and 5 of the last 6. A couple years ago I think 3A East had 8 teams that were 5-5 or worse make the playoffs. A lot of that has to do with Richmond/Tidewater area 3A teams still playing majority of their schedule against 5A/6A schools. All 3 of those teams made the playoffs in 4A East so they'll be contenders in 3A. 3A East for the recent past has been dominated by James Monroe and the Bay Rivers Champ(Lafayette, Poquoson, York). Loudoun Valley in NoVa has been the other team that's been pretty good. These additions along with schools like Hopewell, Petersburg getting better will surely help 3A East become a stronger region in football. In Basketball, the West has a long way to go to catch up with powerhouse programs like Norcom, BTW, Petersburg and the Richmond City Schools. Good Luck to your team as playing against level field come playoff time should help you guys build confidence which will for sure help build your program stronger and stronger over the next several years.

We were 4A made it to the second round of the playoffs. We have D-1 Size last year the O- line avg was 290 we return 3 out of 5 so im looking forward to the new challenge last year we only had 23 varsity kids so we are happy we moved down we just didn't have the depth as the 5a and 4a schools
Yeah , but our big problem is getting guys eligible... and plus the school is known for its Basketball so a lot of the kids who could help us out does Basketball year around.

All losses were quality losses and hell, judging from what I read you guys should've beat my boys (Norcom) AT NORCOM. Didn't know it was that much a challenge to get guys to come out there. Next year will be different, I'm certain.
