Comments by the Richlands coach in the Bluefield Daily telegraph were quite childish and disappointing after this game. No business leading young men with that type of attitude. Take your losses with a little class. Ridiculous. Acts like a little child on courtside too

I have watched the guy play years ago and watched him coach these last few years
. He has always been like that. He whines about everything.

Hes a big baby and needs to grow up and show more decorum on the sideline. He had the nerve to complain about sportsmanship from Graham. He was by far the poorest sport in that gymnasium on friday night. He also got a jab in at the refs for Graham. The ref should have thrown him out of the gym if you ask me. Graham had twice as many fouls called and still won by 30. Take your arse whippings with class.

As much as a crybaby as he is, I have to admit, I loved the scathing sarcasm he spewed when he said to "Go ahead and carve Graham's name on the trophy in Richmond" and "Graham will destroy Gate City". Have to admit, even if you are a Graham fan, that was quite funny.

Plus, apparently they were so bothered by the game, that they postponed their Saturday game with Abingdon when the roads were perfectly clear. Heck, Graham played their game Saturday against a West Virginia school.

As testy as this game seemed to be, it wasn't even the most tension filled environment in their own district Friday night. That award would go to Virginia High/Tazewell based on all the comments I was told about that game.

Saw some hilights of that one. Refs lost control of that and let it escalate.

Yep, definitely sounded interesting to say the least. So much so, that I may try to check out the rematch at the Bearcat Den on the 30th, just to see if the bad blood continues.

Well. I plan to see the Graham and Richlands rematch. Hoping that Graham keeps their foot on the pedal for 4 quarters. Maybe Fred will wear his big boy pants, but I doubt it.
