Richlands boys beat VHS to finish regular season
Taylor Horn tossed in 24 points as Richlands closed out the regular season with an 86-75 boys basketball victory over the Gavin Austin-led Virginia High Bearcats on Saturday.
Virginia High led 34-31 at halftime, but Richlands gained the upperhand in the game’s final 16 minutes. Caleb Horn (22 points), Race Moir (15 points) and George Cole (12 points) also played well in the win.
Austin fired in 34 points for the Bearcats, while Tyler Strong added 21 points.
