WYTHEVILLE -- Josh Reeves scored a game-high 28 points, including the 1,000th point of his career as the Maroons overcame a shaky start and put away the Cougars to advance to the Region 1C championship game.

Peyton Coe added 13 points, Dorien McMillan recorded 12 points and 10 rebounds and Ty Farrow scored 10 points for George Wythe, who will face either Parry McCluer or Auburn on Saturday in the final.

Covington was led by Tijon Rice with 27 points and 11 from Ricky Jefferson.
