For the boys, Altavista defeated ARGS and Stonewall Jackson defeated Riverheads 4-1.

Have not seen a score for Altavista and ARGS but Stonewall Jackson posted on their athletic twitter page that they will be hosting Altavista for the championship.

For the girls, Stonewall Jackson won 12-1 over Rapp. Co.

Galax beat Auburn last night 2-0

Galax will host Patrick Henry Glade Spring Tuesday and Auburn travels to Honaker

Region C Girls
Eastern Montgomery beat Auburn 2-1
Bath County beat Parry McCluer 1-0

Eastern Montgomery, Auburn and Bath will all advance to the state tournament

I am going to guess that Stonewall will defeat Altavista (would locals agree?)

If Stonewall wins as it looks like they will (in boys), Northumberland will have to travel to Stonewall Jackson in both boys and girls soccer!

Looks like a 4 hour bus ride for NHS - one way.

Should be two big battles - winners advance to the State Final Four at Radford.

Altavista at Rappahannock on Tuesday - I'm guessing at 6 pm.

This one could get ugly...slaughter rule.

To me, Rapp is the fav this year - of course, Galax is a powerhouse so who knows (and I am hoping NHS makes it to face Galax in the semis).

I am told Auburn is strong this year too. (they will play Rapp if both win).

As for the other girls A v B game, Wow - WP win in 6 OTs over NHS was crazy huge, WP should roll....Indians will have to battle.
