they will....FINAL:
JM 104 Luray 53
Luray is going to be handful in Class 1 next season despite this score - they were just overmatched
I actually think that’s a pretty respectable halftime score against Team Loaded.HALF: John Marshall 51, Luray 28.
I respect them playing hard period. Don’t get caught up in the who, it’s about why you there. Heart mean more to me than anything else.I actually think that’s a pretty respectable halftime score against Team Loaded.
Yeah for the first 2 mins…watched Marshall last night and the Graham game this morning. Marshall would beat them by 20+ playing half speed.I believe Graham has the athletes to keep this thing close. I’m rooting for the G-Men.
Play hard, have fun, & make memories! Win or lose, lots of other teams would have loved to make it this far. There’s no shame for a good team of hometown boys to not be able to beat a team filled with D1 athletes. Give them your best game & leave it all on the floor afterwards. Enjoy the experience of playing on the biggest high school basketball stage in Virginia. This group is the first group since 1974 to play in a state basketball championship for Graham. That’s quite an accomplishment in itself. Everyone expected John Marshall to be in Richmond but Graham fought hard to get there. Congratulations, GMen! Your community is proud of you!I believe Graham has the athletes to keep this thing close. I’m rooting for the G-Men.
Probably not and honestly, I think Marshall would dominate all six classes.Outside of Marshall are there any C2 teams that would be competitive in the C3 or C4 playoffs?
Bo, you and I have been cool a long time. I think you must have been 1/2 sleep when you made this post. JM beats Graham by at least 65+ Thursday evening.I believe Graham has the athletes to keep this thing close. I’m rooting for the G-Men.

I could be mistaken but I think all but a couple have attended Bluefield, VA area schools since elementary with the exception of Fix who came to Graham as a 9th grader who moved to Bluefield from Princeton and Jones who doesn’t even play unless it’s a blowout who came from Blacksburg because his dad was hired at Bluefield State University. I’m presuming you’re referring to Ray but he’s been at Graham since elementary school definitely no later than 6th grade. I’ll ask his dad next time I see him at the “local” or some might say “hometown” car dealership where he works. 😂I like that you said that Graham is a team of “hometown” boys.
Should we take the time to name all of their hometowns?
I don't no about Graham, but all of Lurays players live in 10 mile radius at the mostI like that you said that Graham is a team of “hometown” boys.

I’d say Luray has area opponents that hate them same as Graham. Those folks just like to stir up stuff. Some might even say “green” with envy. I don’t get it because one county rival of Graham now has the most decorated athlete in school history possibly Tazewell County history and as far as I know, Graham folks are happy as can be for her and proud of her accomplishments. I’m glad when all our youth succeed regardless of where they attend school ; others aren’t. Congratulations to Luray on a great season & giving John Marshall their all.I don't no about Graham, but all of Lurays players live in 10 mile radius at the most
You are very correct about the rivalries, and also being proud of the young kids, you should be.I’d say Luray has area opponents that hate them same as Graham. Those folks just like to stir up stuff.
