Great job, Blacksburg! I know 1bburgfan is pretty happy right about now. First trip to the finals since winning Division 4 in '89, I believe? Congrats to the Bruin fans, and tons of kudos to the B'burg players and coaches.

The real mystery is how Blacksburg pulled this off, despite being so unprepared by their River Ridge schedule for that awe-inspiring Phoebus defense. And of course, the real shame in all this is that the world will never know what that fearsome Phantom D would have done against Staunton River's offense. I know the Phoebus faithful were so looking forward to that matchup.

I'm looking forward to that all-western 3A final next week!
