Carlisle defeated Atlantic Shores 67-62 in the opening game of the 4th Annual Coaches For the Cure Basketball Classic.
Rasir Bolton led the Chiefs with 27 points while Gabe Osabuohien added 13 points and 8 rebounds. Tajh Small posted a double-double with 11 rebounds and 11 points.
Atlantic Shores led 17-7 with the help of five 3-pointers and two free throws. Hunter Ladler had three treys in the 1st quarter. but Carlisle finished the quarter on a 12-0 run to go ahead 19-17 after the 1st period. Mastadi Pitt started to assert himself in the 2nd quarter scoring 11 points to help Atlantic Shores regain the lead heading into the break 35-33.

The Seahawks pulled to within three after a 4th triple of the game from Ladler with four seconds remaining. Atlantic Shores was only 3 of 7 from the free thrown line in the final eight minutes.
