Granby won a pitchers duel with Wilson coming away with a 1-0 win at home. Three Comet pitchers teamed up to allow only three hits while striking out five.
Matthew Eagle threw four innings to get the win and Trey Hanchey finished the game with a strikeout for the save.
The Comets scored the only run of the game with two out in the bottom of the 3rd inning. Tyler Porter singled to left field scoring Chase Anderson from second base.
Wilson pitcher Jamze Merritt pitched a complete game in taking the loss. Merritt allowed only five hits while striking out four.
