Great job to Matt last night. His team played their hearts out last night.
So happy for Matt Allen and Chatham High School. My dad (Coach Craig Gill) loved Matt like a son knew Matt was going to do special things at Chatham. As I told Matt earlier my dad told me to "keep an eye" on Matt as that boy is going to build a program. Dads goal was to get healthy and ask Matt for a chance to coach on his line. Wish he would have had the opportunity to do that. Great things are in store for this coach and his program. Looking forward pulling for the Cavs on Friday nights! The Gill family is pulling for you brother! Congrats Friday. We know it's the first of many!!

Not too bad for a kickball coach, am I right bcknights? Sad to see the Knights lose, but happy to see a native do well. Wish for success to both teams as the season goes on. HR6, I reckon reg b is right. The spread will pull them both through haha.
Buckingham is one of them teams that I sounded the alarm on due to stuff I was hearing through my wife's kinfolk. I knew it was going to be a mess down there with the coaching change, not changing name of field, young team, Gill passing away, etc. This is just one of them years, but I see them overcoming it soon. I do think that #8 is a better qb than the brickhill kid. A team like that will need an all around athlete qb back there and not a one dimensional player. That line is not consistent right now.
Buckingham is blessed to have so many strong teams in the past, just like Gretna. throughout the years, they have produced some powerhouses. If you ask people that are not from this area where buckingham and gretna is on a VA map, they cant tell you.

Didn't mean to air dirty laundry so we can drop. Nothing good can will ever come of it. Bucktown has great kids and athletes and I'm sure they will get this turned around. Best of luck to both teams this year!
