congrats to Glenvar

Lord that is embarrassing as a Big Stoner lol. Its nice to see great fan support, if they only cheered as loud as they ran, it would be nice. Our fans are not the rowdiest bunch, we kind of stole the big cowbell idea from GC and several people have them now, but as a whole the fans can be more social than I enjoy. I would rather see a more fired up crowed than a wine and cheese golf clap crowd.

But its not as bad as it seems, neither Gretna nor Graham filled up the visitor side completely. On the home side, two Graham fans sat right in front of me, very nice people. Some questionable sportsmanship on the field, but class off the field. Iam grateful to have family members who go early and save me a seat so I can get dropped off at game time, so I am lucky but most arrive very early and camp out. I have a little medical issue and get cold really easily, so I try to avoid it best I can. My fingertips were literally on fire after the Gretna game, not as bad against Graham but its supposed to be raining Saturday, which favors Glenvar IMO because Union has a more diverse offense that relies on speed and athleticism more than brute strength. Gonna be a great Saturday, if the Bears and the Tide both win, gonna have a great week end!

I also heard officials were much better tonight and all Giles fans I talked to just said they flat out beat us. I have no problems when u just flat out lose to a better team.

I totally agree with the parking lot situation. Took me over 1 hour to get out. As part of the plan to rebuild the school they planned another access/exit road out the back past the baseball stadium but the homeowners up there waged a political war against it so we are still stuck with one small road out and extremely limited access. They could've sped things up with a couple of cops directing traffic. That was ridiculous.
Seems to me that having that many people in one place with limited ingress/egress is a safety issue. If it were a building the fire marshall would go nuts. I suppose in an emergency cars would be abandoned but it cars were trying to leave and emergency vehicles trying to get in it could be bad.
