Dan River Holds Off Upset Bid by Chatham 73-66

Dan River took every punch that Chatham gave them, but the Wildcats still prevailed with a 73-66 win at Chatham on Thursday. Wildcats led by 9 at halftime but the Cavaliers rallied in the 3rd to tie the game at 50.

Kudos to Cavs coach and DR alum Charles Warren, he got them playing hard.

Not surprised. They beat Appo, lost to Altavista by 1 or 2, only lost to arguably the best 2a team in the state by 6...My good friend Charles Warren told me before the season that he was going to turn Chatham into a winner. Warren comes from a winning pedigree at Dan River and he's going to bring that to Chatham.
