Congrats to the 5 young men who signed letters of intent today; DaVon Clayton UVA-Wise; Tye Freeland Howard; Bryce Witt Chowan University; Timmy Fields Virginia State; Travon Wilkerson Virginia State. Also congrats to LB Jordan Hudson on his commitment to Christopher Newport. 5 other players to commit following visits over the next few weeks.

Of course I'm proud of all of these young men. But a special shout out for Jordon Hudson.

Jordon had a season ending injury very early in the year. He may not have been on the playing field after that, but he was still a big part of the Generals run to the championship game. He turned his energy and focus to helping the team in every way possible. Especially mentoring his replacements. He was and is the commensurate teammate.

CNU got a steal. I can guarantee that you will be reading about Jordan and his contributions to the Captains over the next four years.
