Senior Tyler Doman threw a complete game shutout to send Strasburg to a 6-0 win over Randolph-Henry to advance to the championship game of the 2A playoffs.

Doman struckout six while walking four. He pitched out of several jams. The Statesman had at-least two baserunners in each of the first four innings including having the bases loaded in the 1st inning. Doman struck out the next two batters to end the threat. He benefitted from a double-play to end the third inning with two batters on.

The Rams kept the pressure on by scoring one run in each of the first four innings. Evan Snapp singled home Ryan Murphy who opened the inning by getting hit by a pitch. Murphy singled in a run in the second inning as did freshman Josh Pritchett who plated Doman for a 3-0 lead. Ian Butler homered over the left field fence to give the Rams a 4-run cushion.
