Essex seems a bit sluggish tonight. Lacking some of that fire they had last week. Just game two since 2019 and a lot of things to still to iron out.
I’ve seen a King William guy here as I walked in. If Essex expects to go toe to toe with KW next week, they need to bring it!!!

Still same score with 5:23 in 3rd. Been sort of a slow boring game. Penalties killing Jamestown. Must be over 100 yards of them by now.

Essex probably left 1 or 2 scores on the field. Definitely on their last possession. Those delay of game penalties were buzz killers. And they need to get those cramping issues resolved with a couple of their better players.

How does the Essex backfield compare that of a couple years ago ?

Any team would love to have the two backs that Essex has right now in jr's Dorian Harris and Kameron Robinson. The senior QB Tre Ball can run too.

Couple years ago we had K.J. who was about 6’2” 240lbs. Everyone keyed in on him. This year we have 2 main guys in juniors Harris 6’1” 195lbs and Robinson 6’2” 215lbs. QB Ball senior 6’0” 180lbs. also runs. There’s a 4th guy who has gotten some carries. Can’t remember his name.

Little side note: Harris, Robinson along with senior lineman Demondre Roane 5’11” 285lbs., are the only 3 starters returning from the 2019 season. Robinson is the Nephew of Essex and Virginia Union University star Sterling Hammond.
