If seeding, and high seed hosting low seed is so important and highly discussed for round 1, why is the concept not carried through to the semis? Why do the higher seeds not always host? If they did this than 2A East would see Clarke hosting Greensville and RE Lee hosting Gap tonight. Kinda silly with a 4 seed hosting a 3rd round game while the 3 seed has to travel. Just food for thought as Round 3 begins today.

I see what you are saying but it's a bracketed tournament that doesn't reseed after each round. Just guessing, but that's the way all the tournaments have been run and it might have something to do with the old film exchange. It might be something to discuss with everyone having hudl and krissover programs that make it easier to trade film.

So what you're saying is that Greensville should be penalized for upsetting #1 Goochland by then having to play the remaining highest seed in #2 Clarke? I disagree. I think if you pull an upset like that you win that team's path to the championship. To the victor go the spoils. All Lee and Gap have done is win the games they are expected to win. Greensville is defying the odds. Good luck to them tonight, although I'm pulling for Gap.

I get how illogical it is that Lee-Staunton has to travel while Gap stays home, but that's bracketology. Each team did their part by winning their games. Greensville just threw a monkey wrench into it.

Lowest seed should have to advance by winning at highest seed. Certainly not penalizing any team as they are still playing. It's an open forum and I just threw it out for discussion.
