Dan River whips Appomattox
Dan River avoided its first losing streak of the season by beating Appomattox 15-4 in six innings on Wednesday.
The Wildcats (8-2) had 16 hits with Justin Moser and Zach Harris having big days.
Moser went 4-for-5 with a double and scored four runs, while Harris went 3-for-5 with a two-run homerun, a double and scored two runs.
Bennett McCann earned the win for Dan River, pitching a complete game while giving up just two earned runs.
Dan River plays again on Friday at Gretna.
