Hensley calls the plays not Harner, he was a failure at Rural Retreat, he has no concept of football or how it is played. It just seems it is hard for them to find coaches so they take whomever is available.
I don't understand why people around here feel the Athlete Director plays no role in the program.
You guys say it does no good to complain on here, to apply for the job. I hear, talk with the AD, School Board, principle...well there is one thing about it, posting on here gets their attention, a lot of the town folk read it.
The coaches get on here, the players and the fans all navigate to VirginiaPreps, most don't chime in, but they read, they see.
It gives people a false impression of the team and the coaches when they are ranked #1 for no reason what so ever, over teams they can not and will not beat any year.
They would not be able to compete in Region A or B this year if they played those teams. It is rude to these other teams across Virginia. What is the thinking behind it, not to inform.
Not only were they #1, Virginiapreps goes even further stating their QB might be the best in 1A, this is false advertisement, this is the exact problem being discussed. To me it seems not inline with what this site should stand for. Rivals is about recruiting, ranking, and giving exposure to those deserving.
How hard a kid works or how bad his family wants him to be successful has no baring on his ability to perform if they have chosen the wrong profession.

After reading this thread, I don't think there is a qualified coach in the state that would want a job at GW !
Nothing wrong with the one they got. Had a couple of bad games that's all! They'll find their grove and all this will be water under the bridge

In Greenville...wow....you mean the team that sends their special needs kids off campus to keep their average attendance below 475? I would give anything to see them in Class 2 where they belong playing Appo! Ill be waiting on a sarcastic response in 3.....2....1....
They scrimmaged Appomattox the last two years before this year I believe if you ask Appomattox fans we held our own.
Sarcastic is what you will get ! Since your number of post most likely match your age , I will say you son are a little jealous ! Riverheads has worked hard to run people out of town to keep the numbers we want . Sometimes you have to be a bully ! lol

Golly gee guys, after the last week I have a reason to be upset with certain Riverheads posters, and you got me taking up for them. By CONSTANTLY bringing up and complaining about their numbers is saying you can't beat them. I'll tell you what, go to the school 1 day and count every kid... by the way better get there at the right time or some will be "mysteriously" gone according to some. And you can't count young teachers, student teachers, or just small adults
