King's Fork raced out to an early lead with pressure defense, but Millbrook adjusted and battled back to close the gap.

KF had 12 point lead, before Pioneers cut it 9 before the half.

High scoring 3rd Q, as KF once again raced out to a 12 point lead (37-25), only to see Millbrook chip away and cut the deficit to 3.

Another high scoring, exciting last quarter as Millbrook cut the lead to 2 points on several occasions, including hitting 2 3-pointers in the last minute to cut the lead to 69-67 with 18 seconds left.

KF threw a baseball pass down the court - up for grabs - KF grabbed possession for an easy layup and 71-67 lead.

Millbrook possession with 2 seconds left - time out - shot blocked by KF as time ran out.

Sometimes it was hard to watch at times with the buffering.

Also, I've never seen so many jump balls between 2 teams in a game - girls going to the floor constantly.

Millbrook advanced to first state title game since 2018 and won first region title since 2018 this year.

Pioneers finish 25-3.

Coach Green made some good adjustments to get MB back in the game. The only difference that I saw between the two teams was, KF had more team speed. Great game between the two squads.
