Very close ball game between two friendly rivals...East Rock's youth showed in the last few minutes of this game, making to many turnovers and bad shots, however, Page played a zone for almost the entire game and East Rock took advantage by hitting several 3 pointers..sorta puzzling why a man 2 man wasn't used some and also, in last few minutes of game as Page gradually pulled away, why Page didn't pressure the ball to make East Rock run more time off clock instead of letting them have easy access up court...Page made their foul shots in last few minutes to keep an improving East Rock team from a big win..Page needed this win badly has they had lost their last four preceding games.
In the boys game played at East Rock it was East Rock over Page 60-53...which is a split of season series between these two teams...next up for Page is Luray..girls on Monday and Boys tuesday however, if impeding snowstorm hits, that could alter schedule
