What did Central do to slow Floyd down like that? I know if you slow Floyd's PG down, then a team has a good chance at beating them.

There's one thing Wise doesn't lack.....And that's good coaching. Their Coach makes crucial adjustments all the time that gives their team a chance to win almost every game they play in.

I only saw that endless parade to the foul line in the Martinsville game when I arrived for the Madison game, and then of course saw all of this game. Based on that, I don't see how Martinsville can even stay on the floor with Central. I think I saw one field goal scored in that last four minutes.

If I remember correctly, Martinsville already beat Wise-Central earlier in the playoffs.

True indeed. I was just responding to an earlier comment that someone made. They said, " I don't know how Martinsville can even stay on the floor with Central". I guess that we'll see come Thursday!!!!!

My apologies if necessary to the Lady Bulldogs but when I walked in with about 4 minutes left, they were ahead of Nottoway by 8 points. All I saw, and I do mean ALL, was a constant parade to the foul line on both sides. It took at least 25-30 minutes to finish that last four minutes of the game. So I being a neutral observer, saw NOTHING of what Martinsville may have to offer. Central on the other hand seemed quite strong to me and easily took out a Floyd team that had been there before. So my comments were based only on what I saw.

We all are entitled to our opinions. When Wise Central and Martinsville met about a week ago, Wise came up on the losing end.

Nottoway couldn't shoot free throws, they would have lost to Ridgeview probably if you had one more minute in that game!

Martinsville has a solid duo of #2 and #10. #11 had great height and they play tough basketball. Central-Wise came out on fire against Floyd County! Great offense, smart defense, and played an amazing game.

I'm expecting a great final that may go into overtime!
