Lots of turnovers on both teams last night which made for a sloppy but exciting game. Looked like Glenvar was going to dominate after going up 14-0 but Covington never gave up and was in it at the end. Glenvar's defense came up big to stop a couple of drives on fourth down in the fourth quarter and the offense scored late to seal the game 28-14..
Covington has some good athletes and they should have a really good year. The turnovers hurt them big last night.
