Giles kicks 35 yd FG with a few seconds remaining in half. GW 14-10 at half
GW-21 Giles-10 3:04 left in the 3rd Q. GW hit a huge 50+ yard bomb beautiful pass. GW is making dumb mistakes but we're don't just enough to keep a lead. Giles playing tough so far good game.
GW-21 Giles-17 1:17 left in the 3rd Q Radcliffe for Giles breaks off a huge run to answer GWs big play. GW is stopping Giles 99% of the time but we keep giving up big runs. Other than that we're holding them. GW takes the KO to the house for a TD but it's coming back. Again dumb mistakes are killing us and 85 yard TD is coming back because of a hold. And the gold was away from the play so it was pointless.
GW-28 Giles-17 11:02 left in the 4th Q. Another beautiful pass for 6 for GW this one from about 50 yards out Rivers gets about 10 yards of separation and just absolutely burns his man.
GW-35 Giles-17 5:11 left in the 4th Q. Rainey takes it to the house from 51 yards out. He broke at least 4 tackles on his way lol he would not go down and once he got space they could catch him.
GW-35 Giles-24 4:09 left in the 4th Q. And again Giles answers on another big run. If GW would stop giving up huge runs we'd be fine. Giles has played extremely well this game but if GW stops the broken long plays we win BIG!.
GW-42 Giles-24 1:47 left in the 4th Q. Rainey AGAIN!!! This time from 16 yards out. He has had an amazing game tonight and the team as a whole has played great on O. But our D needs to get back to work ASAP! We have given up way to many big plays tonight. You take these huge plays away GW rolls big tonight. And for Giles they've played extremely well tonight great effort on their part. They didn't back down and came to play I think they win big next week against Galax. And if this group builds on this game they can get hot at the right moment and make a run come November.
Spartans played them tough for 3 quarters. Starting fullback didn’t dress out and losing our best tailback early in the 4th hurt us. Both starting linebackers also didn’t dress out due to injury. GW is a physical team that I definitely see winning the Region. The Rainey kid is as good as advertised.
