A good one tonight in Danville. Carlisle led for most of the 1st quarter and then GW got HOT!! Tamario Rodgers shot 4 3's and a couple of beautiful drives to the basket and GW led at the half. GW went cold in the 3rd and it lasted until about 2 minutes left in the 4th. GW got too complacent and got away from their game, Down 7 in the 4th, they trimmed the led down to 2 twice but Kaleb Johnson and Quinton Jackson, 2 big D-1 recruits, was too much in the clutch hitting all their free throws. Rodgers hit a big 3 to trim it down to 1 with 4 seconds left but Jackson hit both free throws and Rodgers shot from 30 out missed. Rodgers led all scorers with 38 points. Rodgers is the REAL DEAL and GW's big men in Curtis Brooks and Donald Smith (2 D-1 football recruits) are playing some really good basketball. Big game Tuesday night in South Boston against 8-2 Halifax County which is always a good one. GW lost in South Boston last year against the Comets, which returns 4 of the 5 starters from their team last season.
