Glass up 16-8 early, 1 min left in 1st. Danville is switching up defenses a lot, seen a 2-3, a 1-2-2, and some matchup stuff, length was giving Hilltoppers problems but they just went on a little run. Glass is chaotic (in a good way) defensively. Should be a great game

Glass up 21-8 end of the 1st. They have moved it really well on the break-right read every time. Danville should get hot but looking good for the Toppers early. I won't be able to watch the whole thing so someone feel free to chime in if anyone else is watching.

Organized chaos has been Glass' defensive style since Coach Roy Roberson took over more than 15 years ago. Coach DJ Best was his assistant before becoming head coach and he has continued that style since. It really makes it difficult for teams that don't have elite guard play.

Glass does not have the ideal size and length as a lot of teams but they play great defense and are efficient on offense. They will be a tough out for anyone.

Not much scoring

Glass still leads 38-33 end of 3

The NFHS scoreboard makes it hard to know what going on...

The time is not working and it has Glass ahead 98-33

Same thing I’ve been saying about GW ended up costing them. Too much ISO ball. Works against the Piedmont competition, doesn’t work against good teams. Congrats to EC Glass! I’m hoping the Toppers can make it back to Richmond.

Adrian Farmer 12 points for Glass, Zach Wilson with 10.

Kobe Morrison leads GW with 12 to eclipse 1,000 career points while Zay Cobbs adds 10.

That ball should have been in Zay Cobbs' hands. He's a better ball handler than Kobe.

Facts Ant! I don’t want anybody to twist my words, GW played hard and deserved to be there. You just don’t have two elite level shooters like Zay Cobbs and Isaac Smith (who I believe will ultimately be a P4 kid) and have Kobe Morrison (who I believe is an All State candidate) try to take on 3 defenders in crunch time. Credit Coach Best for having his guys prepared for that moment. Though Glass got sloppy, they were extremely prepared for a very good team last night. Credit GW for a turn around season. First time in a long time last year that they didn’t make the playoffs and they were 21-4 this year.
