Jamison Harrison scored five touchdowns while rushing for 348 yards to help Blue Ridge move on to the Private DII State championship game with a 34-15 win over Atlantic Shores. Harrison scored on touchdown runs covering 72, 66, 36, 63, and 41 yards.
What a game by this young man. Strong, fast and good vision on the field. Without this young man, not sure Blue Ridge would have gotten in the endzone. Definitely he was the difference in the game last night. One of the best athletes/RB I have seen this year.
Disagree about BRS not able to score w/o him. When you have a player breaking out, you ride him till he's contained or stop! Shores didn't wrap up good enough, probably hadn't faced a hard nosed runner like that ever! BRS played a damn near flawless game. Proud of them for cleaning up on the penalties, since the state said they couldn't. Next week should be fun! See you all in 6 days.
