Why can't VHSL provide some insight into the weather delayed playoffs? What's happening? Why can't their paid staff put out some info on their website?

And dont get me started about the price of admission. Let's discourage attendance by charging more.

The VHSL doesn't know anything because they have delegated everything down to conferences .

What are you talking about, of all the things to complain about VHSL for, they are as on top of it as they can be. Look at conferences that submit the information, they're up to date, including tonight's results. If a conference or region is not up to date, that's because they're not sending updates.

The information should originate in Charlottesville, not from the boondocks down in a conference.

Have to disagree - How could the VHSL possibly update information, be at every conference tournament, make weather related decisions for those conferences etc.? It is up to the conferences to provide and update the VHSL with the proper information - its the only way it will work. Conferences and localities need to be responsible for something - we can't blame the VHSL for everything.

Am I taking crazy pills? You loudly complain about every post season decision the VHSL makes (locations, dates, travel, home games) and now you want the VHSL to make MORE decisions?

You want Charlottesville to make a call if a game can be played on the Eastern Shore or on Wise County? There are 96 conference tournaments to be played.

Problem is not all conferences,have same formats. it should be same format state wide .

also this high seed host crap should be eliminated . all games should be on neutral court at centralized location .

As much as I dislike the way the VHSL handles the post season, u cannot blame them if a conference/region doesn't report back to them...like someone said earlier...they cannot be at every conference/regional game...however, maybe this will make em wake up and see that this conference thing just isn't working in the current format..I do agee, that all districts/conferences/regions need to play by same set of rules

It is obvious to anyone who reads your posts that you are anti VHSL. For you to say info should trickle down during post season play is ridiculous. Being some one who has sent info to the VHSL on post season, its not rocket science and all conferences send the info the same way. If it is not reported then that is the fault of tournament directors. As for the format, all conferences are not the same. You have conferences made up of teams that play a district schedule with teams that are either one level up or down. It is up to the region to determine how to seed their conferences and regions. Is there a perfect solution? No. Lastly, the high seed host crap is not crap. If my team has earned the right to play at home, why should we travel to a neutral site. And being the neutral site, what is in it for me to put time into hosting a one game event that my school has no stake in. We will all be so glad when the VHSL works it all out and gets everything right so you have nothing to whine about!
