HEY SHORT SUGAR D.S.H....QUESTION???

The series has been dormant for a number of years now but, years ago GW and Pulaski enjoyed a very competitive rivalry. Some regular season games and frequent playoff contests. I think Pulaski has a slight edge 8-7 in all contests. Games both in Danville and Dublin with the heyday of the rivalry being when Joel Hicks and Alger Pugh were the coaches at Pulaski and GW, respectively.

I was on the GW middle school team back in 2000, and was water boy for varsity. Pulaski took us behind the woodshed that year! But I remember Pulaski had a great entrance coming down to the field from those steps. Had fog and horns blowing, pretty intimidating. And the stands were packed. They still have good crowds there?

The crowds now and even in 2000 are not as good as they was in the 80s and early 90s but overall we still have pretty good crowd at least on the home side.
