Home or Away Jersey in Football

Has there been any talk of having the guest team wear dark jersies and home team white?


Someone on wvpreps asked this question and I hadn't heard anything about it yet.

Visiting team wears white, per Rule 1, Sec 5 Art. 1.

NFHS basketball has the same rule. Home team will wear white uniforms.

That what I stated also, but he says their school was told by a National Company that the rule was changing to Dark on Road, White at home for Football also.


I then said; "That's news to me, when did this pass?"

The basketball rule has been effect for 3-4 years now. A lot of the j/v teams can stillwear the old varsity stuff that are light colored. As the new stuff is handed down the light colored stuff will disappear.
