Great win for Hopewell against a great team in Varina. Hopewell center Jordan is starting to play like he's 6'10. If he plays like he's been playing lately Hopewell will be tough to beat in C3 .
If Hopewell and Lake Taylor end up 2/3 in the region. That semifinal game for a trip to states will be worth the price of admission!
I don’t like it cause New Kent schedule is no where near as tough as Hopewell or Lake Taylor. Give either one of them New Kent schedule they’ll be undefeated also
I agree with you, Hopewell schedule is also tough even in football. The fact that you still have to play your district schedule and win those games is tough enough but the non district game are even tougher . But in the long run it makes them ready come playoff time. Last night Varina game was a battle and Varina is the number 2 team in C4 Hopewell plays Highland springs the last game of the year for the last non district game in which should be a good test also C6. Which also helps in point ratings for seeing. Good luck teams.
