We all know he was out of bounds. What's lost with that play is it would have been 2nd and 10 from around the 20 even if he was called out. Refs miss calls. Part of the gameLet’s make a poll to see who thinks Tony Spradlin was out of bounds on that catch. You know the one Mr. maroon dude.
You’d think it was a walk off touchdown with how some people talk about it 😄We all know he was out of bounds. What's lost with that play is it would have been 2nd and 10 from around the 20 even if he was called out. Refs miss calls. Part of the game
Yes he was. I have the newspaper photo that clearly shows be was. He even admitted it years later.Let’s make a poll to see who thinks Tony Spradlin was out of bounds on that catch. You know the one Mr. maroon dude.
They gave him the touchdown which he didn’t get, that play changed the game in my opinion. No matter what you say that could have happened after, that was one of the worst calls ever.We all know he was out of bounds. Unfortunately bad calls are part of the game. Every game has them. I have reffed sports and it's very easy to miss something . This was definitely a missed call. Amherst still had their chances to win the game. Eventually falling in overtime. I agree that maybe Amherst could have stopped Salem or maybe Salem still scores. They gave him the touchdown which he didn’t get, that play changed the game in my opinion.
