I've been hearing rumors all day long that Brady Justice one of the top backs in 1A has transferred. Any truth in these rumors John?

I sure hope not, Hurley would still have a good team, but they wont be a title contender. It is depressing to even think about it.
Man I hope this isn't true most of that group has come up together. Right? And if so they deserve to come to a potential record setting and landmark season together. Either way I think they are still a 10 win team but it just wouldn't be the same. I don't mean to sound like I have any skin in the game but he is a special talent.
It's what a semester that a new transfer can't play? Maybe if the kid is from out of state or parents new job or something like that they can play. But idk it would be a shame either way.

Student athletes transferring, especially during the semester. It would take a special
Hardship waiver by the VHSL in order for the transferring student to be eligible
Immediately at the new school. That is my understanding of the VHSL rules.

I know my senior year at GW we had a transfer from RR. He was able to play immediately he had been to RR practice and school so idk.
I guess we will find out in about 72 about hours! If he plays at the new school

I have no idea what precipitated all this, but sometimes 17 yr old kids make
Mistakes and do not think like adults.
Coach Tester is a fair young man, and will help this young player through this

Up with Hurley in the Bristol paper and message boards.

Everything seems to be going good, he is an awesome football player, sure glad it worked out. We have been without Zack Lester for two games because of a broken Nose from a car wreck so the Rebels will probably will be at full strength now. I see your team is playing good ball now after a slow start, have to put them in the mix.
