Makes alot of sense

I think the limit should be moving up or down 1 class. To me, you start punishing a C3 or C4 team if they have to move up 2 divisions.

What I LOVE is the privates are going to get all kinds of points for country club sports and the football teams are going to get CRUSHED.

Yes they need to do this module!! Every 10 years, they should start by moving Phoebus Salem Varina to Class 6 & leave Dinwiddie in Class 4 for a while a teach em a lesson!! Oh and move Huguenot to Class 5. That’s a great 10 year plan to me 🌚

Yes, if you're an average to below average sport at a school with a strong enough athletics program to get promoted, you're going to get hammered even worse.

Also, particularly for smaller schools, if you have an unusually outstanding group of athletes in one or two classes in a row, then the more average athletes in the following classes will be put at a big disadvantage.

First. No system is perfect and I understand fully your example that will undoubtedly happen. I believe the positives will outweigh the negatives by putting the student athletes in a more competitive environment. As of now you have schools losing by 50+ points week in/week out year over year. Isn't putting [for example] RSA [AKA George Wythe] up against a school with 'equal ' talent a better situation for both schools? I'd argue it would help build a program as I'm sure some don't play because of the current competitive imbalance.

From what you know... Would this put a school like Salem/Phoebus up into 5 A with the chance to be in 6A?
