JC KIMES KICKING CAMP
[/B]Dates: Saturday, June 20th, 2015
Location: Atlee High School - Mechanicsville, VA
Times: June 20th / 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
Provided: Lunch, Water, Instruction (Campers need to bring their own kicking tees/blocks and one Football clearly marked)
Instructors: J.C. Kimes, Ryan Molin, Travis Bishop
Enrollment: OPEN to 6 Graders and Up and will focus on Kicking / Will separate the 6-8th graders and then the 9-12 graders into two groups for kicking
Fees: $75 per camper
The camp will focus on the basics of field goal kicking, and kickoffs. During the one day camp, we will focus on:
• Proper set up for kicking field goals (Steps, foot placement, etc )
• Instruction on squaring hips, chest and plant foot placement
• Drills to support the importance of balance and plant foot placement consistency
• One on One instruction provided for every camper to enhance their learning
• Drills to take away for further practicing
• Kickoff techniques and approach to ball
*** THIS CAMP IS DEDICATED TO PLAYERS WHO ARE TRYING TO FURTHER THEIR KICKING DEVELOPMENT. I AM ASKING THAT ALL PLAYERS THAT SIGN UP ARE TRULY SERIOUS ON THE POSITION AND WANT TO BETTER THEIR OVERALL KICKING TECHNIQUES. WE WILL HAVE SEVERAL INSTRUCTORS THERE TO FACILITATE THE DRILLS AND PROVIDE ON FIELD TRAINING FOR KICKERS. THE SOCCER STYLE APPROACH IS DESIRED FOR KICKERS ***
