The Lady Buffaloes of Floyd County High School stomped Giles County 67-33 Friday night at home but the Spartans downed the Buffs 73-61 in the boys’ match later in the evening.

The games, originally scheduled as homecoming for Floyd, came on a another day of cancelled classes from the snowfall earlier in the weekend and numbing cold afterwards. FCHS officials postponed the homecoming events but the games continued.
