Liberty University Two Arenas

How do you guys feel abut LU having two arenas. VHSL could hold the state there again. They could have Group 1--2 and 3 in the small arena. 4,000 seats. Group 4-5 and 6 in the Vines center. Or they could have Boys in one and girls in the other. Have not heard anything. Just a thought when I drove by there yesterday and saw how much progress is being made on the new arena.

They are building the arena so when they only have several hundred fans show, they will have a more home court advantage. Also they plan on just using the Vines Center mostly for their daily convocations and not use is for basketball. Taking the floor up and putting it back down got to be a lot of work. Next time I go by there, I will stop and get a picture of the new arena. It connects to the front of the Vines Center. LU is trying to fill up every empty space with some kind of building or parking garage
