James Grave scored 16 in the first half, made his first 2 shots of the 3rd quarter and sat the rest of the game. His 21 pts lead both teams.

Gotta' say that the 2 officials were the worst I have ever seen at ANY level. MCs coach got a technical and the RC coach got 2 and was disqualified. Both coaches were rightly expressing their displeasure at these 2 guys complete lack of basketball acumen. Both teams were just lucky no one was injured due to these guys. I hope someone with some authority looks at the game tape and bans these two from ever officiating a basketball again.

MC outscored Central 39-17 in the second half. James Graves lead MC with 21. I believe that MC can finish no worse than 4th in the conference. However, MC's gym will be refurbished starting Monday. There will be no games there the rest of the season. So if MC hosts a game, it will be at another school.

Any word on what Graves will do at the next level if he decides to play sports? A very solid all around athlete, who could be a stud QB at the D3 level in my opinion.

He is a very good QB; heckuva shooter on the hardwood; and will be MCs ace on the mound. But the word is that Auburn and other schools want him for their fishing teams. He already won a major fishing tourney and from all accounts he could make a very nice living as a professional fisherman. No matter what route he takes, MC will miss him.

D1 scholarship to catch bass. Sounds like a dream gig to me. Good luck to the young man in whatever endeavor he chooses !!
