Man, what's wrong with Norcom?

Nothing wrong perhaps, the 3A bracket is stacked with traditional powers like G. Wythe and Marshall along with Phoebus for starters, but my boys lost two straight. Tommie Pope and Travis Fields' being gone taking effect? I read somewhere we don't have size in the paint, is that an issue? Someone school me.

I saw them play Phoebus, Hampton 2x, Bethel, Woodside, Lake Taylor, and IMG. They lost to Hampton both times, Bethel, and IMG but they were all better teams than Norcom this year. That Lake Taylor team was good but Norcom's tandem of Davis and Ingram was too much. Woodside was simply no match for Norcom.

The Phoebus loss was the same with every team in the playoffs so far no one knew about Khyree Temple and how good he was because he just started playing a couple weeks ago. As far as what's happening the last two games I believe Norcom is still a good team just going against teams that are hungrier than them in the playoffs. I would love to see that George Wythe tape because Norcom was up 17-2 to start the game. No doubt in my mind that Norcom can make it back to the state title again. Just need to play motivated and get past Spotswood and Heritage/Wythe

I figured they were playing uninspired. Temple gave them 30+ a week ago, so now I'm curious. Good to see Phoebus back on the scene in basketball though.

Temple is a stud. I'm hearing his uncle moved him down here from Philly because he was getting in trouble and just suited up this month. Not only is he scoring at an efficient rate he's also grabbing double digit boards, blocking shots, and making hustle plays. Phoebus should be very solid next year with Miles and Temple coming back plus the stud c/o 2021 kid who should start next to Miles next year.

Temple reminds me a little bit of Johnnie Story from Hampton back during the Curry years. Similar frame and athletic ability.

I remember Johnnie Story. Ole boy could jump out of the gym.

They ARE in the state field so they cannot be THAT bad. Let's see how they do against the West

He's asking because prior to this season Norcom was on like a 22 game playoff win streak....Norcom just doesn't lose 3 out of 4 to anyone without questions starting

exactly, but apparently another state title kills any questions now, lol. Congrats to my boys, and to anyone else that made the state tournament.
