Martnsville Middle School Wrestler wins State Championship again!

Logan Turner (8th grader) HWT became a 2X State Champion at the VACW in Hampton. The tournament provided excellent competition. Logan pinned two undefeated wrestlers in the 1st period, Michael Grimes from Hampton and Stephen Sobczech from Spotslvania, to claim the championship.

Does Logan plan on Wrestling in the Virginia State Championships in Richmond next month? It would be nice to watch him wrestle.

He will probably be wresting at Wrestlefest the National Middle School Open. I hate that they are on the same weekend. He will wrestle at the NHSCA nationals at VA Beach in March too providing he can get down to 233 pounds. He pinned all his VA competitors in the 1st period at the VA Duals and at the State tournament.
