What a game! The Charger D did a great job tonight. They spent way too much time on the field but in the process they held the Panthers to the least amount of points they have scored against the Chargers since 2012! Very good job for such a young squad. The Panthers had to earn those 24 points! And yes, they didn't get a lot of help from the offense. The starting QB went down in the first series and may be out for the rest of the year. The back up QB, a young sophomore with no varsity experience at all, stepped in and didn't do that bad of a job. The Chargers threatened a couple times but just couldn't put it all together. That young man is accurate and given a little time to execute the reads and he'll be running the offense just fine.
