Something was going on with the HS QB, and it appears that MBK may have had a better game plan, and executed it.

You could see this coming since the season started. I believe the players believed all the social media stuff and forgot they had to win the game's first.

I am the biggest of Springer fans. Tonight.... I am baffled at what they did.The defense played pretty good.
The offense was missing in action! I don't know where to start! The offensive line couldn't block. MBK's defense was in our backfield all night. HS play calling was so bland. Attempt after attempt to run the ball up the middle with no blocking going on. when not up the middle, they went to the right side. ( Mekhi Becton and all the beef are on the left side)...they stuck to the side that wasn't getting it done. QB couldn't get away from the pressure, over thrown passes and such.... then he got injured... they decided to play WR Chris Thaxton as the QB, instead of our backup QB. That wasn't working, Then The rest of the game they played the JV QB and he did a pretty good job, considering.... What happend to David Laney, our Freshman Varsity Backup QB? He was there on the sidelines.???? He played beautifully in all those 7v7 match ups they did over the Summer! Mysteriously enough, the injured starting qb was seen on the sidelines after MBK took the lead, suit up with pads and helmet as if he was coming in to save the day! He didn't get the chance, MBK was able to run out the clock after HS missed the 27 yd FG to win.
I have about 300 questions for the coaches and the rest of the Springer Family in the stands scratching our heads want answers too! No kidding, WHAT'S GOING ON?
One thing for sure, MBK came ready to play football. HSHS, .... I think they came to see the marching band play!
