Northumberland at Rapp showdown stats - Rapp has top NND QB & WR

Just a few stats about maybe the biggest NND game in both school's history (certainly against each other). We are talking decades here. Stats credit to Rapp Times.

Northumberland (7-0) risks its undefeated record at Rapp (7-1) in Warsaw.

Both schools are 3-0 in the NND (gotta be a 1st).

NHS is 2nd in Region A ratings with a 20.3 rating.

Rapp is 3rd in Region A ratings with a 19.8 rating.

(Franklin is 1st with a 20.4)

Top 5 NND stats concerning RHS and NHS-

QB - #1 RHS' Gaines all by himself at the top - 14 TDs only 1 interception. 921 yards passing.

Gaines is also in the top 5 as a rusher - dang, almost 6 yards a carry .(no Indians in the top 5...)

Nice I must say.

Can the NHS D (secondary) stop the Gaines passing and rushing attack?

2nd NND QB - Northumberland's Mason Adams with an almost 70% (69.2) completion rate? How will Adams do against the Raiders?

Rapp also has the #1 WR in the NND in Epps. Epps catches alot of balls with a very nice 23.1 yards a catch average.

Epps has 12 TDs just behind Essex's KJ Dameron and LHS' C Dameron.

NHS has the next two top WRs in the NND in Palmer and Saunders.

The stakes are high...when was the last time RHS hosted such a battle? The 80s?

Could be a wild one, a crazy barn burner. Should be fun. Might rain...
