Parry McCluer Track and Field Throwers Senior, KJ COOK and Junior, JOSHUA FISCHER has been named to and received the Roanoke Times 'ALL TIMES LAND" 1st and 2nd Team Track and Field Athlete Honors...
Senior thrower and William & Mary commit K J COOK received 1st Team honors in the Shot-Put and Discus events.. COOK was the OUTDOOR STATE CHAMPION in both events this year and also was the 2017 STATE INDOOR CHAMPION IN THE SHOT....
Junior, JOSHUA FISCHER received the 2nd Team All Times Land honor in the Shot-Put event and was just seven feet shy of the 2nd best thrower behind Cook in the Discus event.. FISCHER, now a rising Senior finished 2nd in the Shot-Put event behind Cook in the 2017 OUTDOOR STATE CHAMPIONSHIP and finished 2nd again in the Shot event behind Cook in the 2017 STATE INDOOR CHAMPIONSHIP... The 2018 indoor/outdoor season is looking bright for the 6'-5" 260 pound senior!!
