This game was far from boring, just because they were not throwing it all over the field does not make it boring! Their is still a lot of us how out here that appreciate and enjoy old school smash mouth football!

I have never understood how anyone can like that type game. I was at the Magna Vista- Lord Bot game. When I saw LB's offense, I wanted to get up and leave. This is first time since they moved games to Salem that I did not go there. I knew of the 4 teams, only one would throw the ball. Thankfully Appomattox showed everyone how it's done.

Yea HR6, but Appomattox had the athletes to spread it around, I was at the game and Appomattox really impressed me, I really think they could have won 3A as well, I watched LB against Hopewell and I know for a fact they could play with LB, as for matching athletes with Vista I don't know, but I do think Appomattox wanted a Championship more than maybe any team in the finals. They played with a purpose it seemed like not saying the other teams didn't want a championship it just felt and seemed like Appomattox was on a mission and they weren't going to be denied.

A Magna Vista-Appomattox game would have been a really good matchup.

It's hard to defend against a team that can run ball and throw the ball. When a team refuses to throw and just runs ball 40-50 times a game, a good defensive coordinator can usually slow them down or stop them at State Championship Game. It's hard to defend a good passing team.
