I have 2 points differences from the vhsl and maybe one of you can help me out.

I have King and queen at 20.4 avg and the difference comes from rider points from blessed sacrament. I have 4 but vhsl has 0. Does blessed sacraments wins over Randolph macon and massanutten not count?

Mathews and their rider points for Portsmouth Christian. I have them at 3 and vhsl has 2.

Tidewater questions:
Vhsl only lists chincoteague as ineligible out of region a. Wouldn't Middlesex fall into the same category with the district schedule? They also don't list Charles City though so maybe just an oversight.

Also Mathews and KW MaxPreps pages do not have their game for 10/18 anymore. Are they not playing anymore?

A game vs a private school will not count most likely. So when you do their points, act like that BSH game never happened and divide by the number of VHSL games.

@bulldog1150, I hear ya but the weekly ratings have that win as 16 pts with no riders. To me it either needs to count or not but if it does then their wins need to count in the riders as well.

Blessed Sacrament has 3 games vs teams that are not VHSL recognized. (Randolph Macon, Massanutten Military, and Fishburne Military) Therefore, King and Queen will not get any rider points from Blessed Sacrament for those 3 games.

I'm guessing those schools board students?

If the VHSL counts it as a game they might get a multiplier since BSH has students from multiple school districts. Isn't that how the VHSL wrote that regulation a few years back? I thought there was an additional 50% multiplier for each school district that they pulled from over their own geographic zone. So if BSH gets kids from Powhatan, Cumberland, Goochland, and Chesterfield then it would be a 2.5 multiplier(which might still be Class 1 for all I know). I have no idea where all the kids come from, but I know it's located in Powhatan.

All good questions for Mike McCall at the VHSL since he is the ultimate decider.

I think that was just for LCA being a member of the VHSL. But could very well be wrong.

Not that I am an expert in the Ratings (or I don't think so, some have said otherwise), and again not used to the lower classification, but going off the Master Schedule

KQ:
BSH (2-3): Randolph Henry and Massanutten are games that don't count in a teams total recognized record. BSH is considered a 1a team for VHSL purposes. 16 points
Windsor (2-2): 2a school so 18 and 4 riders. 22 points
Portsmouth (3-3): Their 1st game isn't on the Master Schedule, thus doesn't count in the official ratings. They are a 1a team for VHSL, so 16 points and 4 riders. 20 points
Chincoteague (0-5): 16 points
Middlesex (4-1): 16 points and 8 riders. 24 points total.
98 total points or 19.6

Matthews: Portsmouth Christian, their 1st game against Fredericksburg Christian isnt an official game counted by VHSL because it was played before the Master schedule started
