Grafton center Evan Sperling (6-foot-6) dominated inside with 18 points, 16 rebounds and four assists while draining a 3-pointer in the Clippers win over Brunswick. Sperling is a great athlete having played basketball, football and baseball in his career. He is already committed to the University of Virginia as a baseball pitcher but he has the size and skillset to play college basketball if the baseball things fall thru

. Sperling was strong on the boards and had a nice touch around the basket.

Sophomore Cle'von Greene (6-foot-0) is a good ball-handler who plays with a lot of confidence. He led the Clippers with 22 points but he did not have a good shooting night going 2 of 8 from downtown. He's a player who has the potential to develop into a college prospect. Junior Jacob Murillo was 3 of 4 from downtown scoring 13 points to go along with six rebounds and four assists. Murillo is a smart player who seem to make the right play. With his shooting touch, the potential to play college basketball is not out of the question.

Brunswick's top player senior Marshall King (6-foot-3) led the Bulldogs with 10 points and eight rebounds. He was 4 of 14 from the field and only 1 of 6 from behind the arc but he is a hustle player who plays hard on both ends of the floor. I like the way Brunswick senior point guard Jakal Williams (5-foot-11) pushes the ball up the floor. Williams is a high energy player who is a pest during the bulldogs full court pressure defense. He finished with 7 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and two steals.

Keep and eye on Brunswick freshman Tyran Clark (6-foot-4) who will surely gain strength and length as he continues to grow. Clark finished with 4 points, 7 rebounds, and a block while playing inside.
